I mean to build mods for a game that was released in 1996. When I say fast computer is required for 3D map editing. Using the latest graphics cards is not necessary. Investing in a workstation graphics card is recommended. 3D graphic engine editors will require a fast computer to build Quake mods. The Doom Engine is about 50% 2D graphics, and 50% 3D graphics. The Quake Engine map editors uses 3D graphics, and will require knowledge about 3D modeling. GTKRadiant includes many tools that you will need to know before you are able to use the software. ![]() I was able to load a Quake map with GTKRadiant, and move around the map.
